Involution update

I have just come back from a romp down the Involution. The access road up is fully rideable from the quarry entrance, with the track narrowing to just a couple of bike widths where the road has simply dropped off down into the trees. The rest of the road is much as it was beforehand.
I went up the firebreak, and that is in good shape, as is the rest of the track to the Involution entrance. The main part of the track back down to the road is fully rideable, including the streams. The lower part from the road down is slightly different.

The only scare I got was about three quarters the way down the main track, I swooped round a switch back, and started heading down hill picking up speed, only to find a reasonable size rut smack dab in the middle of the track where a tree had toppled over. It was rideable, but caught me completely off guard, you dont see it till you're right on top of it.

There is one stream crossing that is completely unrideable with a tree down over it, and the stream seems to be about 10-12 feet wider from what I remember, it could just be poor recollection on my part, but the stream seems wayyyy wider. The second stream crossing is just rideable, you have to keep the speed on to get up the opposite bank.

One thing I did notice, is that the water stinks something fierce in the lower track, so be wary of splashing too much, just in case there are dead beasts upstream.
