An Invitation to join the Nelson City Council and Nelson Tasman Cycle Trails Trust for the Dun Mountain Trail opening

Saturday 12th November 2011

Ride starts at bottom of Codgers at 0700 hours to meet up with the opening event below.

After Ride Opening Event

Gather 10.45am. At the Maitai Dam Spillway
Short Hikoi (walk) up to the Dun Mountain Trail – 11 am : Opening
Karakia (prayer), Putatārā (conch shell trumpet), Speeches, and
Ribbon Cutting.

Open floor for others who wish to speak
12 noon - 1.30pm - BBQ & Refreshments available.
View displays to find out suitable fitness, training and cycle options
for riding the Dun Mountain Trail and surrounds.
1.30 pm: Road ride back to Nelson along the Maitai Valley
